The clear view fence in South Africa is made from a strong welded mesh panel with a small mesh opening. It is challenging to penetrate and difficult to attack using conventional hand tools. Has the features of anti-climbing and anti-cutting. The fence name 358 comes from its panel mesh opening of 3" × 0.5" × eight gauge - approximately 76.2 mm × 12.7 mm × 4 mm mesh opening.

The panels are made of heavy mesh with a high level of security in a width of 2515 mm and a height of 2007 mm to 3302 mm. Several panels can be installed on top of each other. This may be achieved a total height of 6300 mm.

• Finish: inside and outside galvanized (Min. 275 g/m²), subsequently covered with a polymer powder (Min. 60 microns).

358 high-security fences are packaged in plastic film, then stored and transported on wooden pallets. Each package is firmly attached to the pallet by a special type of tape.

Application: 

As an anti-climb & anti-cut through barrier, 358 welded wire extra high-security fence is designed with maximum security. It is ideally suitable for electronic alarm and detection systems, fencing in prisons, military sites, airports, industrial and commercial properties, warehouses, power plants, offshore petrochemical facilities, seaport Perimeter, laboratories, secure hospitals, schools, parks, and leisure and recreational areas. 358 fence will give them long-lasting and secure perimeter protection with an attractive appearance. Generally, a 3.60 m height fence is used in schools, parks, leisure and recreational areas, 5.20 m height fence is widely used in prison and military establishments.

2D Security Fencing with 4 mm double horizontal and 6 mm vertical wires for greater strength.

These panels increase strength by 6 mm vertical wire and additional 4 mm wires at 152.4 mm centres on the inside face. So it has double horizontal wires at 152.4 mm centres. This structure makes the fence panel very rigid and has a higher level of strength and security than the standard clear-view fence in south Africa. 2D Security Fencing is widely used for schools, industrial sites, infrastructure, and high-security areas.

2D security fencing Specifications

• Mesh opening: 76.2 mm × 12.7 mm welded at each intersection.
• Horizontal wires: 4 mm diameter at 12.7 mm centres on the attack face and intermittent 4 mm double wires at 152.4 mm centres on the inside face.
• Vertical wires: 6 mm diameter at 76.2 mm centres.
• The post has a single row of M8 threaded inserts, which allow the panels to be fitted with specialized pressed steel brackets and are pitched at 2.55 m centres.
• Panel width, height, finish, fence post and clamps are the same as clear view fence in south Africa; please see Table 1.

The 3D security fence is similar to the clear view fence in South Africa, and they are both made from 4.0 mm wire in a 12.7 × 76.2 mm mesh pattern. But the 3D security fence enhanced its appearance with pressed horizontal 'V-shaped beams. It is a unique barrier solution that combines high safety and aesthetic appearance. Usually, 3D security fencing is usually recommended for schools, recreational areas, hospitals, railways, ports, airports, warehouses and industrial facilities or commercial facilities.
